Faceless
———————————————
I’d like to begin by asking, what does this all mean? Does this man find his identity? Possibly. But the better question might be: why was he searching in the first place?
It’s a great tragedy that makes that question so difficult to answer. It is very possible though, that we have simply forgotten our critical responsibility of giving faces to the faceless.
Church has become an institution driven by the singular goal of evangelism and growth measured in numbers. Yet the institution is dangerously neglecting the even more imperative given in the Great Commission. As a body, there is very little concern with discipleship and relational growth, leaving many with faceless and empty faith. To call their new found belief a ‘relationship’ is a dangerous fallacy and a major oversight. A relationship cannot exist on such trivial terms.
Galaxy EP’s Faceless is a subtle reminder, asking believers to take responsibility for cooperate growth and maturity, all the while reaching out and calling to salvation all those who would listen.
